April is a great time to spring forward with new ideas for your home! So this year, why not add a little zest to one of your home’s bedrooms? A guest or child’s bedroom is a great opportunity to design with some fresh color and accessories! One idea is to choose a neutral color to paint the walls and add a fun, colorful accent hue to revitalize the space. We prefer to use this color on the room’s “focal wall”- in this case, the wall behind the bed. We then like to pull this accent color throughout the room; It helps to tie it all together. Be bold in selecting some unique and interesting light fixtures for the space. This is especially true for a teenager’s bedroom like the one shown here. Bright colors, fun fabrics, contemporary light fixtures and furniture work together to give this young adult the room of her dreams!
